Muhammad was an extremely violent and intelligent warrior. He recognized fear was a powerful motivator. And two images men feared most were a god and death. Thus, the basis for his "religion".
Once convinced these fears were deeply perceived, he incorporated tenets to further strengthen the basis of fear.
The fear "We the People" exhibit with our "Political Correctness" is rife for any radicalism to gain a secure accomplishment.
"We the Peoples" government anoints itself by criminalizing our language and is too busy stomping out political flare ups to look far enough ahead to see the true source of the fire. (And it's not global warming.)

Since there have been so many agencies and authorities cited with such a variation of results and opinions, as well as political agendas, I had to reply with my evaluation; Indeed simplified, but arguably true.
The “Authorities” have been subjects in our so called education system and taught bias by biased professionals; They then work for agencies and firms that have their agenda for profit; These professional authorities then program the computers and take polls with the end results predetermined. If your employer doesn’t practice the agenda you like, find another employer who does, or start your own business that can implement your desired agenda. And then you find a sympathetic legislator that will direct federal and local funding in your direction. (Indeed, this applies to many other articles, but, since there are so many authorities and agencies cited here, it applies.)
I am aware of the educational bias by way of personal interaction with family relatives that were the biased professionals of whom I speak.
Any authoritative treatise should be examined with vigilance taking into consideration the possible end results desired by its authors.
Even my own.
We the People are still subjects of some ones agenda, but we still do have a secret ballot and a few liberties left. There are too many subjects with direct influence on our daily lives that cannot be mastered by any one individual. Each individual has to sift through the information provided and determine their own course of action or inaction. The most detrimental authority to us all, is being subject to a charismatic jurisdiction; i.e. The incoming presidential administration.

The United Auto Workers Union Bailout

This article points out the blatant efforts of the Democrats to indemnify itself and ensnare the laborers with pay to work (or “Pay to Play”) employment. Any union member knows unions take their money and use it for PAC’s which promote union growth and dominance. Unions have caused the downfall of many large companies and organizations; Eastern Airlines; National Airlines; U.S. Air Traffic Controllers for just a few. A bailout for Detroit auto makers would give the unions greater power throughout the U.S. The Detroit automakers can’t be competitive unless they can get loose from the unions stranglehold. If Detroit has a good business model, it can survive and come back into the market a more lean, mean, manufacturing machine, that can be competitive the world over.
This should be obvious to the "We the People" that this is more action by the Democrats, to create a more nationalist/socialist government structure which enables Democrats to strengthen their power base and influence.

Being familiar with the Cuban situation since before the “Cuban Crisis” in the late ’60s, The U.S. government coddles Cubans like no other immigrant. There are laws covering Cuban refugees that are meant to apply to Cubans explicitly, thanks to Jimmy Carter.
My real question is; Why has Cuba never been invaded by expatriates wanting to start a coup? Apparently, the U.S. is too accommodating and comfortable. I have sailed around Cuba in an American flagged sailing vessel, and have not been harassed. There have been regattas of sailing vessels from Tampa/St.Pete that have docked in Havana. Until The Miami Herald ran an article about the blatant smuggling of Cuban cigars and liquor several years ago, anyone wanting to travel to Cuba from the Florida Keys was unrestricted. Refugee smuggling has been going on for years. Cuba is a sizable island, but if Cubans REALLY wanted to invade and take their precious island back from the Castro regime, it would not be difficult. I’d guess that 33% of Cubans in south Florida have a power boat capable of a round trip to the island; That’s a sizable armada.
Anyone remember “Alpha 66″? An organization of Cuban expatriates who “trained” in the Everglades on weekends with their M-16’s, etc, smoked some good cigars, got drunk, went back to work Mondays, came back next weekend for more “war games”? I think they all traded their M-16s in for boats. They’ll be in the Boat Parade this weekend in Ft. Lauderdale.
Actually, this looks like what “We the People” are becoming in the United States; A country with a disfunctional government that uses our money for their unilateral purposes, while its citizens throw ink and insults back at it.
And, get this; The Cuban government has a greater satisfaction percentile than the U. S.!

U.S. Governments (We The Peoples') Economics

Let's get down to reality; Washington politicians know they need cash flow through government coffers to justify their "labor". With this cash, they may pay back the districts they hail from, and reward the voters for their votes. And, vote themselves hefty rewards, such as a raise in pay and benefits.
You cannot make SOMETHING out of NOTHING. The entire U.S. economy, as well as most other nations, is constructed, and functions on a debt structure.
This is evidenced by the the current Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac failures, and the haste with which the politicians bailed them out.
The auto industry is another case of evidence. They are currently THREATENING the government (we the people, actually) with massive revenue losses, and massive job losses. This is not a new situation. It has happened to many other large companies; Eastern Airlines, National Airlines, the Air Traffic Controllers during the Reagon Administration.
The auto industry has simply overgrown itself. And since it is not a quasi-governmental organization, such as Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or the U.S. Post Office, will have to be more creative to save itself, or suffer the fate of the foregoing companies. I might suggest "creating" an automobile shortage, or creating an auto industry OPEC that will cut back on auto production to maintain auto prices.
The auto industry could, and should apply for a loan from the World Bank, which is in walking distance from the Capitol Building. This is how "commerce" functions.
Another example of U.S. economics; No more "silver certificate" printed on U.S. currency. Only "In God We Trust". And this is attested to by a couple of signatures; So, if money is your problem here in the good ol' USA, have you talked to God about it?

"Educated" Voters

Many of the Liberal Left voters today have come from the "new education" system that will not give you a passing grade unless you agree with their Liberal Left agenda. I detected "dumming down" 30 years ago with my kids. These are the mindless dolts that make up the media that is carrying on the tradition of agreeing with the Liberal agenda.
McCain saying he would "fight" for us in Washington is like a paraplegic threatening to kick my ass. McCain has never had any fight in him. I think he likes the torture he gets.
Take a look at the radical, insane leaders around the planet that are going unchallenged. Until we have a Conservative representative that displays real spunk, we are victims of the uneducated, incompetent, malicious liberals "allowed" to assume power.

What’s the difference between open unconditional discussions with Amadinejad or the Democrat Party? We’re fools to think we’ll get any respect from either one!
I’ll respect Obama and his administration as soon as I get a personalized invitation from Jeremiah Wright to speak at his church as a middle class white man.

With the hatred and vitriol that has been freely flowing for the past years about Bush and his administration, I see no need to stop this action now; Just replace the names with Obama and his bums. After all, the media was so successful with its contrived “news”.
There’s reason to think the election was “stolen” by the Looney Liberals since ACORN was so involved and there was so much early election pandering.
I see no reason to stop spitting and peeing on all the presidents accomplishments. Consider it an art form that must be carried on.

Obamas Audacity is really Unmitigated Gall

Can you believe what you've been hearing and reading about this "Presidential Candidate? He is convinced the U.S. Constitution is basically flawed and has a "blind spot" placed into it by the founding fathers! And he will create legislation to "correct" it! If this doesn't convince you this man is a radical who has been schooled by radicals and continues to associate and ally with other radicals, nothing will. (And Congress is trying to prove how radical it is on a daily basis.)

This man is worse than the Manchurian Candidate whom was psychologically programmed to assassinate high ranking government officials; Obama will create so much confusion in our government, that we will be guaranteed war from within and with other governments. The recent, and continuing, global financial events clearly indicate how much influence the U.S. financial market has on the world markets. The world does not realize what a disaster Obama would be for them.

Yet some of Obamas supporters DO realize. There are enemies of the U.S within the government that seek to undermine the U.S. with whatever means they can implement. One of their methods is to have more and more money flow through the government which enables them to skim off more for themselves and their cronies. And there are Obama faithful that welcome a war from within the U.S. They have been calling it the "revolution" in their churches and communities for decades.

As long as Obama has been campaigning, people still do not see through his double speak and outright lies.
Racism is the least of our worries with Obama. He will be an unequaled disaster for the U.S. and the world at large.

Why don't you give your teenage kid all your credit cards, check book, and keys to the family car and send them to the mall for a shopping spree?
I'll ask the same question of you about electing someone to the highest office in the U.S. How can you give all the credit cards, check book, keys, and authority to start a world war to someone that has never had any credible authority or shown any credible authority in recent history?
Because they are a good speaker? Good speakers do not necessarily make good governors; Take Hitler, Castro, Amadinejad, Chavez, Kim Jung Il, Arafat, for instance. Sure, the American Dream is attainable, but do not expect some one to come along and bestow it upon you. Ask any one whom you believe to have attained the American Dream. You'll find it has been achieved through much toil and financial trial and error. And the toil has to be maintained.
And since the credit score is such a valuable asset, what do you think Obamas credit score is? We should know this since it is used by most employers for employment these days.
When you get down to the facts, you'll probable know less about Obama than you do a neighbor that lives one block away.
If you follow the news media and believe what they are promoting (and not telling you), then you are prone to consider your vote as frivolous as they do their opinions. Journalism was a respected occupation when I went to college. But today it is used as a weapon to gain favor over its perceived adversaries.
We are both engaging in journalism at this moment. But, unlike other journalistic articles, debate is open here. Comments are welcome and will be responded to.
Partaking of life in The United States is a journey of education and growth. Our founding fathers have laid the ground work for what we have today. But, we need to continue to defend and protect our way of life and liberties through these refined methods. And this is not a frivolous pursuit.

If you don't think this web site is "Left", try doing a "Search for Friends" (once you are a member) for both Democrat and Republican. There are approx. 6200 more registered Democrats than Republicans who make comments to these articles. Independents number 11818. And you do not have to be a U.S. Citizen, or even live in the USA to make comments. These threads are open to Al Qaeda, Hamas, Fata, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, North Korea, Venezuela, etc.
So do not be disturbed by rabid comments about capitalism. Around the world, Republicans are outnumbered, but, we are the strongest nation on the planet. Thanks to the foresight of our Founding Fathers.
You shall find socialist governments throughout our planet because they are self fulfilling. Once installed, they are very difficult to unseat. This should be ample evidence that electing Obama to our government, or any one like him, could be devastating to our cherished existence.

The Depth of Obamas Socialism.

How much more evidence do you need to show the depth of Obamas socialism? And the same goes for the socialist media. Why else would the media attack an ordinary citizen for exposing Obamas idea on "financial justice"? "Financial Justice" is the term Obama has used when he was writing his college thesis and in speaking to his earliest audiences.

If Obama is elected, Pelosi, the Wicked Witch of the West, and her Flying Monkey, Harry Reid, will cause so much devastation, there may not be recovery. How many of our enemies are waiting for an opportunity like this?

And voting in Obama is showing your approval of Congress, because they'll have unequaled power. You people need to do some research on socialist societies of the past and present to see the proof. It's as close as the search box on your browser.

My earliest research on Obama uncovered his term "financial justice". And he has stayed true to this idea throughout the campaign.
There's going to be "financial justice", alright. He's going to drag the U.S. into such a quagmire, the conservatives will have to invent a new nation. In fact, I will volunteer to be its first janitor to become a member.
An Obama presidency will make James Bond movies look like fairy tails. If there is a God, he has to help us now!.

I have experienced age discrimination in many circumstances. On job interviews, one of the first comments has been "How old are you?". I have called back to employers where I had a great interview, and asked what happened; I was told they thought I would be too old to keep up the pace!
Talking with other skilled craftsman, we had much in common since, younger workers, with much less experience and skills, would criticize us for our age and lack of stamina.
When you are skilled and experienced, you can accomplish much more with a lot less energy.
They hire individuals who show promise and can be an asset to a company; Yet, when they become that very asset, they are conspired against for replacement by a cheaper imitation.
I am retired, now, because I refused to be a subordinate to an individual (younger than my own son) whom had never supervised people before, and did not really care to acquire the skills of a good manager (and yes,more age discrimination). Had I not retired, I would have looked for other employment or started another business. Early in my work life I had a different job every two months for about one year because I ended up not liking the employer.
In my case, I have acquired what I ultimately worked for. And kept my pride doing it.

Congressional Global Integrity.

Pelosi and the pathetic Democrat Congress are a bigger failure than George Bush, whom they keep bashing. Congress has a lower approval rating and a lower success rating than George. When it came to a critical decision point, (the financial meltdown), Congress choked, but was forced to a plan that, so far, hasn't done a damn thing, but create more instability. Look at the crap that was added to the final bill! This Congress cannot be in session one day without taking a shot at George Bushes kneecaps!       

Any rational person in the U.S. can see that the global rating of Congress is just as bad. And they want to put somebody such as Barack Obama in the White House! WHAT A JOKE! Obama has the same regard for the U.S. as Kofi Annan. The global integrity of the U.S. will reach a new low and may not recover. Need I remind you that we have experienced "sleeper cells" in the U.S. before. And I pose it to you that ACORN is as close as you are going to get to a "sleeper cell" taking its toll on our Constitution. 

Congressional actions demonstrate they are not wanting to listen to "We the People". This should illustrate that coming events shall be more of the same incompetent, partisan, and costly legislation.

 There have been revolutions, in our history, over much less. And a revolution is warranted at this time by the conservative activists of the U.S. 

These articles are meant for just that purpose. If the Democrat(Socialist) Party gets any more power, this very  "absolute privilege" shall be under attack.

Excellent article by Mr. Sowell; Points out how Obama's shallow and hollow economic knowledge will lead to complete unaccountability with Democrats in power. There'll be so much graft and corruption in the Federal Government, under Obama, that it will overwhelm the justice system. The average American citizen will replace Monica Lewinski under Obama.
There is evidence that this is part of the "Obama Doctrine" and subversive tactical training. He has been mentored by a student of Saul Alinsky's, and has studied and taught the Alinsky method of "Community Organizing". JESUS! If this Democrat puppet gets in the White House, there'll be race riots, race wars, a world war and civil war. And the terrorists will so busy laughing they'll not be able to set off their suicide vests.

VP Debate

Palin is chewing Biden into little bite size pieces. Biden is chewing himself into a hole.

Some truth in a confusing media tirade.

They are called "conservative" for a reason. They intend to "conserve" the traditions of the U.S. Constitution. And "conserve" the traditions of the Founders of our nation. It is not an easy job, nor an easy idea to defend. But, these defenders realize that what they do effects their families, and the families of their families.

Liberals are 'liberals" because they think that there is so much glut and waste that there is more to go around for everyone. This is such a sad mistake.

If the U.S. Constitution (and need I say U.S.?) intended to incorporate liberal ideas, it would more replicate IDEALS of other nations that are not as prosperous and influential as the United States. This nation stands alone as the most prosperous and influential BECAUSE of its (to date) Conservative agenda. 

Can anyone, for arguments sake, introduce another global government, that is in such a state of attack from within?

That is precisely because no other government ALLOWS our level of dissension of its people. 

Our military engages in conflicts completely around the planet for the purpose of GUARANTEEING this American belief and Constitutional Right of Freedom Of Expression and Freedom Of Speech. 

Needless to point out, wars are engaged around our planet, for these very reasons. A battle is taking place, from within, for the Commander in Chief of the United States. And the prosperity and integrity of the United States, as well as our families, is at stake. Taking an irresponsible risk on a candidate that has nothing to share with the voters except a good speaking record is reckless and suicidal. 

You've heard before, that our system isn't perfect. But name one that you would rather be living under. If you can do that, you are living in the wrong country and under the wrong "constitution". AND YOU ARE PERMITTED TO LEAVE AND CONDEMN YOUR AFFILIATION WITHOUT THREAT OF DEATH!

MY conviction is; Liberals are lacking with insufficient knowledge to choose a leader that has their most basic needs in mind.  Read "Moby Dick" and you will find a most illustrative example.

Casting a vote, in the U. S., is not a visceral engagement. It should be separate, and, ultimately, cognitive.

VP Debate

To be completely above board and credible, Gwen Ifill should recuse herself as moderator of the debate since she stands to gain, financially as well as professionally, from the Obama/Biden campaign winning the debate and the presidency. But, do you think anything like this is going to happen? No way!  If I were Palin, I would ask her on the stage to recuse herself, or I would leave. 

This is just one more indication of how the Obama Administration is going to function with all its "comrades" in the White House and Legislature. It will be a free for all for the entire Obama Administration and the Pelosi gang. There will be so much corruption and criminal activity, it will overwhelm the courts and justice system. Another reason these very Democrats want to instill complete gun control. They're afraid that a well armed militia could cause a rebellion large enough to be effective.

President Bush should indict several members of Congress and the media as conspirators and co-conspirators in the criminal activity, embezzlement, tax evasion, and cover up taking place by so many members of Congress. The U.S. socialist media is blatantly complicit and not even trying to pose as neutral. The Justice Department should be involved in the current activity even without being directed by the President.

If no action is taken soon, there is going to be tyranny. The troubles we're experiencing now are only a rehearsal for next year.

Interesting article in Investors Business Daily about the moderator, Gwen Ifill. She just so happens to be a disciple of Obamas. Should be a very interesting dog and pony show. 

Strange, how listening to one media source predicts such great things under Obama, and another media source predicts such gloom and doom. As you know, I can visualize the gloom and doom from an Obama administration. From the sources I get, I would say the Obamanation will prove itself to be aptly named. With rampant crime and corruption. Rape, as well as abortion, will be legalized since rape is what most people and institutions are going to experience to their bank accounts, retirement funds, wages, and businesses.

And again, you can see how the Obamanation, I mean the Obama Administration is going to have its disciples (tentacles)

in places not suspected. We will be a model for socialist governments everywhere!

Great article from Matt Finlay on realclearpolitics today. It's not easy to get your research done, and get published by a prominent website. It's great to see some energetic conservatives out there. We don't mean to please everybody, but we can have some productive discussions. Necessary today!

Obama's Armageddon

At my age, I've experienced many administrations. I have also been a small business owner and entrepreneur. I have been preaching the same dialog to all the blogs and comments I can, but the liberals and Democrats keep coming back even more vociferously. I sincerely believe that the Democrats have finally stirred up enough anger to sway many people. And the media is in an all out attempt to sway an election, especially this one. When you add the racial aspect, you have a combination the media and the Democrats can use as a club.
Reading the article "Obama's Infuriating Disingenuousness", I could see depth of education and concern in the author. This seems to be a withering component in our society. Another reason the media can conquer the masses through their visceral contrivance.
With the ability of the media and Democrats to publish and legislate their version of morality, I'm afraid we are going to see this adolescent rebellion succeed in a significant destruction of a large part of the American way of life. It is truly saddening. I only hope I can survive the destruction and be of use in the recovery.

A lot of Americans know that Obama is a closet racist who will probably give Jeremiah Wright a Cabinet position, and has also shown his penchant for socialism. This bum leaves us no choice; a race war or a world war!
